چکیده

Inflammation is a protective response to injury or tissue damage and acts by eliminating harmful stimuli such as pathogens cell initiates the healing process. Azadirachta indica was known medicinal plant with various pharmacological activities. This review aims summarize scientific activity of A.indica an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic experimental models either in vivo vitro taken from several databases Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, PubMed over last ten years (2011- 2021). From data, proven be anti-inflammatory inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6, NFkB, COX2, IL-1, TNF-α, IFN- γ, reducing volume edema. Potential analgesic indicated decreasing stomach writhing pain sensation rats. The characterized decrease rats' body temperature. proves that natural products have potential.

Phytochemical, Antimicrobial, Cytotoxic, Analgesic and Anti-Inflammatory Properties of Azadirachta Indica: A Therapeutic Study

Nature has been a source of medicinal agents for thousands of years and an impressive number of modern drugs have been isolated from natural sources, many based on their use in traditional medicine. It has been noted that the original source of many important pharmaceuticals in current use have been plants used by indigenous people [1]. It has been reported that about 64% of the total global po...

Analgesic and Anti-inflammatory Activity of Various Fractions of Azadirachta indica Leaf in Experimental Animals

The methanol extract of its leaf was investigated for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities in animal models. The hydro-alcoholic extract, ethyl acetae and n-butanol fractions at 100 mg/kg body weight reduced significantly the formation of oedema induced by carrageenan. In the acetic acid-induced writhing model, the extract and the fractions had a good analgesic effect (P<0.01) charact...

Analgesic, Antipyretic and Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Aspirin in

The reason of this study was to evaluate the action of oxidative stress (OS) induced with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) on the analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects of aspirin in 7-14 day old chicks. H2O2 at 0.5 % v/v in drinking water induced OS in age 7-14 of the chicks when given freshly. The analgesic Median Effective Dose (ED50) and acute Median Lethal Dose (LD50) values of aspir...

Analgesic , anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity of Cissus quadrangularis

This study was intended to evaluate the analgesic anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity of ethanolic extract of Cissus quadrangularis in experimental standard modals i.e. albino rats following oral administration. The results showed that the ethanolic extract significantly reduce the edema induced by carrageenan within 1 to 5 hrs. post dosing at all the dose levels used. On the analgesic p...

Analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic studies of Neolamarckia cadamba barks

The methanol extract of Neolamarckia cadamba (Family: Rubiaceae) barks showed significant analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity. The acute toxicity, orally evaluated in mice, was found to be higher than 3000 mg/kg. The antinociceptive response using writhing and tail immersion test in mice were examined. The antiinflammatory activity using carrageenan and antipyretic activity in...
